ABOUT
WHO WE ARE
ONE BODY│Many Members is an intricate network of believers in Jesus Christ our Lord, each member being adjoined by Holy Spirit and dedicated to the advancement the Kingdom of God.
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27
Vision: The ultimate goal of ONE BODY│Many Members is for the world to understand the heart of our Heavenly Father expressed through the sacrifice of His only begotten son Jesus Christ, the precious Lamb of God.
This goal can only be realized through developing a personal and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord, and jointly experiencing both the reconciling power of the Cross and the transformative power of Holy Spirit, that makes peace among men and restores us all to God in ONE BODY.
As written in 2 Corinthians 5, we as members of the Body of Christ are called to be ambassadors for Christ. God has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation, making His appeal to mankind through us, as established by the Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

WHAT WE BELIEVE
(Adapted from Mission Share Outreach Center)
GOD
We believe that God is the Creator and the Ruler of the universe. He has no beginning as He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (often referred to as the Holy Trinity). Those three are co-equal, and are one God.
(Genesis 28:19; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14)
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was born of a virgin and lived a perfect life, free of any sin. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross.
He arose from the dead after three days, ascended into heaven, and will return again someday to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
(Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; I Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need of Jesus Christ. He also lives in every born again Christian from the moment of Salvation. He provides the believer with power for living, understanding spiritual truth, wisdom, service and guidance for doing what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His guidance daily.
(II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:1-13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18; Acts 2:4)
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural, guidance of the Holy Spirit, often called inspiration. It is the supreme source of truth for all Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
(II Timothy 1:13; 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 30:5)
MANKIND
We believe that man was originally created innocent and in the image and likeness of God, to be like Him in character. At the beginning of human history Adam and Eve defied God in the Garden of Eden; and as a result they, along with mankind, fell to a place of spiritual separation from Him. Mankind became subject to the power of sin and Satan. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates us from God and causes many problems in life.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)
LOVE & MARRIAGE
We believe that God created mankind in His own image; male and female He created them. We also believe that marriage, as ordained by God, is between a man and a woman. As written in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This intimate relationship between husband and wife has been created as a reflection of the eternal covenant relationship between Jesus Christ and the Church, as God wills for Christ and the Church to become ONE BODY.
(Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 5:31-32)
SALVATION
We believe salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s offer for forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-willed life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)
ETERNITY
We believe the Soul of every human being was created to live forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through salvation and forgiveness. Hell is eternal separation from God. Heaven is eternal union with God. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
(John 3:16; 2:25; 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; Matthew 1:8; 2:44-46)
