For God So Loved The World...

It all began with Love. From the beginning God wanted sons and daughters to worship Him and inherit His kingdom. Therefore He created mankind in His image[a] to subdue the earth, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.[b] God chose to dwell among His children in the garden.[c]
It was in the garden that mankind fell into temptation and was deceived into giving up their innocence in exchange for guilt.[d] The fall of man introduced sin into the world, resulting in death[e] and separation from God.[f]
It is not God’s desire that anyone should perish,[g] therefore through God’s loving kindness He established a Way back to Him.[h] The Way was, and still is His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.[i]
Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit; born of the virgin Mary;[j] was crucified; died and was buried.[k] He rose again on the third day.[l] As a gift of love, Jesus took our place becoming the atoning sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins and the sins of the whole world.[m]
“God made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”[n]
How then do we partake in this free gift from God?
According to the Book of Romans, if you:
-
Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (recognizing His power, authority and majesty as God) and;[o]
-
Believe in your heart (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (made righteous and have everlasting life).[p]
It’s that simple! Let’s pray:
"God, I know I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. I believe Your Son Jesus Christ died in my place and rose from the grave, to remove my guilt and restore my innocence.
Jesus, please come into my life, forgive my sins and save me. I give You complete control. I place my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accept your free gift of eternal life.
Amen."
Welcome to the family!
