"I will give THANKS to You, Lord with ALL my HEART, I will TELL of Your WONDERFUL DEEDS" ~Psalm 9:1
The enemy is always trying to rob God of His glory by getting us to complain about things we don't have, instead of being grateful for what we do have.
"Being grateful" refers to the quality of being thankful. As believers, there should always be a readiness in our hearts to show our appreciation to the Lord, and a motivation to share with unbelievers what the Lord has done for us.
Have you ever noticed that the more grateful we feel in our heart, the better we feel in our body?
Science was created by God, and He was gracious enough to allow mankind to discover that feelings of gratefulness actually increase dopamine in our brain, which causes us to feel good.
As the people of God, we have so much to be grateful for, and when we reflect an "attitude of gratitude", the goodness of God is magnified, and His name is glorified!
