"Come Closer"

"DRAW NIGH unto God, and He will DRAW NIGH unto YOU" ~James 4:8

In this verse Apostle James compels us to draw near {which means to move closer} to God, and when we do so God will respond by moving closer to us.

When we seriously ponder on this exhortation, we should be in such awe and wonder knowing that the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God of all creation wants us to draw closer to Him.

The enemy wants us to believe that we're too dirty to draw closer to God. He tries to convince us to stay away, but the devil is a liar. We have been made righteous, because of what Jesus did for us on the cross {2nd Corinthians 5:21}.

God has granted us permission to draw near to Him, so let us take full advantage of our opportunities to do so with great humility!
