Friend or Foe to Sinners?
"As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me". So he arose and followed Him. Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples."
Matthew 9:9-10

After Matthew was transformed by Jesus, Matthew was intentional with inviting a lot of his friends who were sinners, so they too could experience the love, grace, forgiveness, and transformation of Christ in their own lives.
As we reflect on what Jesus has done for us, let us ask ourselves...
Have we forgotten that Jesus called us out of darkness, and He wants to do the same for our unsaved family, friends, and coworkers?
Because I am a recipient of God's grace, am I zealous for the salvation of sinners?
Am I "too clean" to get my hands "dirty" in order to reach out to the lost?
God has graced us to be bold witnesses for Christ, so lets take full advantage of those opportunities.
Be Encouraged.
