"Hope is in Jesus"

GOOD MORNING!
DEVOTIONAL:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13
Life changes in a nanosecond, and it deals blows we don’t expect. It’s so easy to find ourselves in a place of despair, longing for comfort and hope.
The first mention of hope in today’s verse refers to God as the origin of hope. That part of the verse struck me because it says God is a God of hope. His very name and being is hope. It is a fact. With God, we have hope. He is our hope. The second mention of hope refers to us as the recipients. God pours hope into us when we choose to believe He is who He says He is and that He always keeps His promises. We can hang on to hope knowing that someday, Jesus will return and set everything right. Someday, He will wipe every tear from our eyes [Revelation 21:4]. In the meantime, we can live in hope because the Source of hope lives in us.
Today, take hold of the hope God has for you. “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord” [Psalm 31:24]. There is hope in the sorrow. True!
