"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path"
When we read these verses, they are very direct in what God has called us to do, however, if we're honest, we have all been guilty of trying to be "self-sufficient", only to find ourselves pleading with God to get us out of the mess we made.
As we humble ourselves in a posture of humility and repentance, we realize that we must have continual regard for God's providence in our lives. We must depend on Him in all of our affairs.
When we trust in the Lord with all of our heart, lean not on our own understanding, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways, we will seek the Lord daily for instructions, and believe by faith that He will do what is best for our lives!
