"Keep Your Eyes On The Lord"

"I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from where my help comes. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth"

Psalm 121:1-2

There are times when something happens abruptly and we need assistance to deal with the situation, and usually are inclined to reach out to a relative or close friend for help, instead of seeking the Lord.

King David knew that whenever he faced a challenge, he wasn't going to look to his left or right, but instead he was going to "look up" towards heaven and petition the Lord, and God was faithful time and time again to bring him deliverance.

May we hide this scripture in our hearts as a reminder for us to remember that although mankind can be helpful, we must not place our trust, faith, hope, or confidence into their arm of flesh {Psalm 118:8}, but instead let us place it in the everlasting arm of God!
