"Light Bearers"

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light, they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." ~Isaiah 9:2

Jesus boldly proclaimed in John 8:12 that He is the LIGHT of the WORLD, and those who follow Him will no longer walk in DARKNESS, but shall have the LIGHT of LIFE which is only in Him.

All of us before coming to Christ not only walked in darkness as enemies of God, but we also loved darkness because our deeds were evil {John 3:19} and although our hearts naturally settled in the dwelling place where the shadow of death resides, Jesus didn't give up on us. But instead, He continued to shine His LIGHT upon us until we no longer RAN FROM His LIGHT, but RAN TO His LIGHT in order to clearly see our true condition, and take full advantage of the opportunity to receive His salvation and deliverance in our lives.

We have been given His light to be a light, so let us not hide {Matthew 5:14} what the Lord has called us to be.
