"Lord, We Need You!"
Acts 17:25 declares that God isn't served by people as if He needs anything. He Himself gives everyone life, breath, and everything else.
Oftentimes we hear unbelievers say that they don't need Jesus, because they're "good" people, and can do everything for themselves, but this is contrary to John 15:5 which says apart from Jesus, we can do nothing.
For believers, we know that Jesus is not just all that we need, He is all that we desire. Jesus gives us purpose for life. Without Him, there is no meaning to life itself.
If there was ever a time for the people of God to rise and shine, this is at that hour. Our world is falling into pieces all around us. People are lost, the level of hopelessness is increasing by the second, and those of us who have hope have an opportunity to be witnesses for Christ.
ABBA, our nation is sick, and they're trying to figure out ways to cope, but we know that in order for You to heal our land, it can and will only come through confession and repentance, in Jesus' name, Amen!
