"Take Back Thursday"

"And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor anything that they had taken from them; David recovered all."

1st Samuel 30:18-19

In 1st Samuel 15, King Saul was told by God to destroy all of the Amalekites, but he didn't, which left King David having to contend with them after King Saul was killed for His disobedience.

"Amalek" is a type of flesh. This example reminds us that if we're not careful, the enemy will use our flesh to get the best of us, and we end up forfeiting what God has given to us.

Is there something specific in your life that has been carried away by the enemy?

In this season, God is saying that His plans were "not aborted", His assignments are "still active", and now is the time to go and "take back" from the enemy, that which was given to us by the Lord, for nothing is missing or lacking!!!
