"The Greatness of God"

GOOD MORNING CHURCH FAMILY!

DEVOTIONAL:

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge." Psalm 19:1-2

Perhaps David as a young shepherd kept watch over his flock on the hillsides of his homeland. At night, once the sheep were secure and safe, he could have spent hours gazing up at the grandeur of His Lord’s creation. The more David reflected on God’s vast handiwork, the greater God became, and the greater God became, the greater his faith grew.

The cares of life at times can become overwhelming, it’s during those times, we look upward at the greatness of Almighty God. Like the psalmist, we purpose in our hearts and with deep conviction proclaim, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth" [Psalm 121:1-2].

In the midst of challenging and discouraging times - Remember God’s Greatness. Rejoice in God’s Goodness. Rely on God’s Grace.
