"The Lost"

In Mark 4:11, Jesus told His disciples that they were entrusted with the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but those who were outsiders were only given parables.

In other words, the things of God were only revealed to His disciples, but the ungodly were not able to understand it because it was hidden from them.

This correlates with 1st Corinthians 2:14 which tells us that the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.

Jesus stated in verse 12 that the lost can see, but not perceive, they can hear, but not understand...

There are a lot of lost people who are learning but never come into the knowledge of the Truth. This is why as believers we must never take for granted that we gave been given the Truth and the Spirit of God has been given to us to both understand and discern the things of God.

God displays His grace at the end of verse 12 as Jesus says that if they turn from their sins, they will be forgiven!

Let's keep the lost in our daily times of prayer.
