"The Setting of My Days"

"I have SET the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I will not be moved." ~Psalm 16:8

Upon further examination of this Scripture there are two essential points of application we should take from this...

  1. King David was INTENTIONAL about not only setting the Lord before him, but he had made it his discipline and conviction to always do so.

  2. Because King David built a firm foundation on and in Christ Jesus, it didn't matter what came his way, he wasn't going to be moved!!!

Self Examination

  1. Do I SET the Lord always BEFORE ME on a DAILY basis?

  2. Am I EASILY MOVED from my FOUNDATION in Christ, based on my emotions and circumstances?

Lord Jesus, please give us a HEART and MIND to always place You before EVERYTHING, as well as the POWER to STAND FIRM in the FAITH {1st Corinthians 16:13}, by Your divine STRENGTH and COURAGE, Amen.
