"True Freedom" - Part 1

"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed"

John 8:36

If you were to ask a group of people "what does it mean to be free?", you will most likely get a number of different answers, such as...

• The power to speak or act freely without restraint.

• The absence of subjection or domination to a particular people or culture.

Those definitions are variations of "freedom", in which one could still be imprisoned and enslaved to the bondage of sin.

When Jesus declares a person free, they are totally free from everything that causes them to be a slave.

We are living in an hour where many claim to be culturally "WOKE", but they are not spiritually "WOKE", which means they're still not free. But Jesus wants to set them free in this season.

When Jesus pronounced freedom over us, we are not just free, but we're free indeed, and because He declared it with an eternal emphasis, we now have the power to walk in our freedom both now and forever!
