W.A.I.T. or W.E.I.G.H.T.?

"I WAIT for the Lord, my SOUL WAITS, and in His WORD I do HOPE"

Psalm 130:5

Let's breakdown this verse to get a better understanding...

"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits"

Meaning in His timing, I wait for His strength to carry me, His hand to comfort me, His blood to cover me, His spirit to guide me, and His grace to keep me.

"In His word, I do hope"

Meaning my hope is only in that which He promised in His word concerning me.

Psalm 130:5 correlates with Romans 8:25 which says if we hope for what we do not have yet, we wait for it patiently.

Although we LIVE in a "microwave society", are we waiting for God to move in certain areas of our lives, or are we displaying impatience?

ABBA, please forgive us for our lack of patience. We get so caught up in our emotions, that we forget that Your timing is perfect. ABBA, please give us the strength to be patient in the process, in Jesus name, Amen!

Regardless of the amount of time that God may ordain us to "W.A.I.T.", we can't allow Satan to make it a "W.E.I.G.H.T." in our lives!

Be Encouraged.
